What started out as a home-based business, soon grew with responsibility to manage over parishes in southwest Louisiana, hire & train additional examiners as well as market and advertise to local agents. In 2016 IMT
became affiliated with APPS Paramedical Services and can offer our services to all insurance companies. With APPS Paramedical Services network system, agents can call upon IMT to have applicants collected anywhere in the United States.

All samples are sent to the contracted lab and paperwork released to the appropriate parties.

Preparing for an exam

In order to get accurate information concerning your health, and possibly getting the best rate concerning your policy, applicants are encouraged to prepare for the insurance exam by doing the following.

*Avoid salty or high cholesterol foods 24 hours prior to exam.
*Avoid strenuous exercise 12 hours prior to exam.
*Avoid alcohol consumption for at least 12 hours prior to exam.
*Fast for 4-8 hours prior to exam (or as advised)
*Get a solid night of sleep prior to exam day
*Drink at least one glass of water 1 hour prior to exam
*Prepare a list of names and dosages of current medication
*Prepare a list of all doctors and clinics you have visited within the last 5 years
*Be prepared to answer questions concerning diagnosis, date of diagnosis, treatments, and outcome of treatment.
